Winter hiking on Kreischberg
There are three wonderful winter hiking trails on Kreischberg. Starting from the mountain station of the Kreischberg gondola lift, you can enjoy a hike through the clear winter air on cleared paths:
“Kreischberg-See-Runde”
The lake trail is a leisurely walk around the Kreischberg reservoir, the heart of our snowmaking system. Time needed: approx. 1 hour.
„Zirben Wanderweg“
This trail leads through the Swiss stone pine forest to the valley station of the Rosenkranz lifts and takes about 2 hours there and back.
„Eagle Wanderweg“
The trail leads from the mountain station of the new 10-seater gondola lift directly to the Eagle panoramic restaurant, where you will be treated to high-quality food and drinks. Time to go there and back: approx. 2 hours.
Tobogganing
Starting from the mountain station of the new 10-seater gondola lift, you can walk with your toboggan to the Eagle panoramic restaurant. Time needed: approx. 1 hour.
The Eagle restaurant invites guests to take a break on the sunny terrace.
The “Eagle” winter hiking and tobogganing trail then takes you back to the mountain station by toboggan.
Uphill tobogganing
Richi’s ski school offers a special form of tobogganing on Kreischberg: the Sunshine T-bar lift takes you uphill on special “uphill toboggans”, and then back down to the mountain station of the 10-seater gondola lift – it’s on the toboggan run from the Eagle restaurant.

Cross-country skiing
The Kreischberg high-altitude cross-country trail runs at an altitude of 1,800 metres. It impresses with its guaranteed snow, of course, but also with its idyllic route through the Swiss stone pine forest.
After the ascent with the gondola lift, you access the 2.5 km long circuit right next to the mountain station.
Use of the cross-country skiing trail is free of charge, you only have to pay for the ascent/descent with the cable car.
