Summer
The World Championships mountain is a beautiful hiking area for the whole family in summer. The new 10-seater gondola lift takes you comfortably from the valley up to 1,800 metres above sea level.
Here you can either take a leisurely walk in flat Alpine meadows and in the Swiss stone pine forest or go for an easy ascent to one of the nearby peaks.

Kreischberg Alpine Diploma 2024
A special kind of family challenge: a hiking guide will lead you through the exciting flora and fauna and through the fragrant Swiss stone pine forest. With fun and games, tasks will be solved together and at the end everyone will be delighted to get the Kreischberg Alpine Diploma.
Every Wednesday on the operating days of the cable car,
meeting point: 10.00am at the mountain station of the gondola lift,
duration: approx. 2.5 hours.
Registration required by 6pm the day before: +43-660-1695085; max. 15 participants.
Equipment: sturdy shoes, sun/rain protection, drinks, food.
Prices 2024:
Adults: €30/children: €15 incl. gondola ride (only with Murau-Murtal Guest Card)
DiscGolf!
The DiscGolf Park Kreischberg is located at 1,800 metres above sea level and provides 9 holes in the pine forest as well as a “try-out course” with 5 holes.
Use is free with a valid lift ticket.
Bike Kreischberg
This bike offer is impressive: With the Pumptrack, Kreischi Bikeland, and Kreischberg Trail Area, the Trail Mountainbike Club Kreischberg “TMC” has created the perfect entry into biking fun at the valley station.
Beautiful mountain bike trails lead over the Ochsenberg and through St. Lorenzen up to Kreischberg. For example, you can take a loop via the mid-station or with even more elevation gain via the top station.
If you prefer, you can cover part of the route comfortably with your bike in the 10-person gondola and then, for example, tackle the last stage from the top station to the Kreischberg summit.
Those who prefer downhill can choose the convenient ascent with bike transport from the valley with the 10-person gondola.
Please stay on the marked paths and follow the posted rules! Only in this way we can enjoy uninterrupted biking fun.

The new Dino Forest on Kreischberg is a must for a family hiking day. It is only a short walk from the mountain station of the gondola lift to the Dino Forest, where you can meet the mighty prehistoric giants.

Right next to the Kreischberg summit, spooky figures along the track provide fun and goose pimples.

An exciting walk including encounters with lions, elephants, giraffes and more awaits you.
Monster scooters & mountain go-carts
The gondola lift takes you up the mountain in comfort, and then it’s all systems go: on monster scooters you can whoosh down from the mountain station of the gondola lift along the 4 km mountain road to the middle station.
